Marcy discovered her passion for integrative healthcare during her time in Musical Theater, when her well-being was of the utmost importance in maintaining her career. The desire to promote health in the most natural way possible, led her to graduate studies at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City where she received a Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine. During the 4-year degree program, she completed 960 hours of clinical practice and graduated among the top of her class. She also recently completed a year-long fellowship program at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital as part of the Integrative Medicine Department. Treating the in-patient population in various units, she focused mainly on orthopedic surgery and pulmonology.
Marcy is nationally board certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), and licensed to practice Acupuncture by the state of New York.
Marcy is a general practitioner, but feels specifically passionate about pain management, women’s health, digestive issues, and mental and emotional health. She takes the time to get to know each patient as a whole person, and not just a symptom. Marcy strives to address the root of injury and illness in order to help her patients achieve and maintain wellness.
